Entry
Requirements for University Foundation Programme
The criteria for admission to the University
Foundation Programme are varied and depend to some extent on the
individual. In general, we expect applicants to have completed secondary
education in their own country.
The
following are some of the recognised school-leaving qualifications
which are accepted as meeting the entry requirements for the UFP.
- Arab
Countries - Tawjihiya, Thanawia, General Secondary School
Certificate etc.
- Brunei

- China

- Europe

- India
- CBSE or ICSE
- Japan

- Malaysia
- SPM
- Nigeria
- West African Examinations Council
- Pakistan

- Taiwan
- Senior High School Certificate
- Thailand
- Mathayom 6
- Turkey
- State/Private High School Diploma
Students
not possessing the required entry qualifications can arrange to
undertake preliminary studies at David Game College. We will advise
on this. In some cases it may be possible to begin the University
Foundation Programme and undertake additional studies simultaneously.
Applicants
may also be subject to an entry test of English before an offer
can be made. Students who lack adequate ability in English language
may be required to attend a pre-UFP academic English course before
starting the UFP and sometimes continue with additional classes
of English while on the course. Mature students (over the age of
21) will be considered on their own merit.
