University Foundation Programme

Minor Module of University Foundation Programme

These three modules are compulsory for all students at University Foundation Programme. Both David Game Tutors and University Admissions Tutors believe that the UFP Minor modules constitute the fundamental background to any academic work at university level.

They equip the student with the essential numerical and analytical skills, and introduce the use of computers, which is becoming part of every university course.

The Communication Skills module prepares the student for the demands of a degree course especially in the areas of research, report writing and presentation.

Mathematics:
Both pure maths and statistics are studied.
Information Technology :
Students learn to use word processing programs, spreadsheets and databases.
Communication Skills :
Student develop study skills (such as effective reading methods and essay-writing) and oral communication skills (such as public speaking and group discussion).
